Handmade in Japan with an Italian touch

EleNAmi accessories and home decor are crafts handmade in Tokyo using locally sourced Japanese fabrics and my personal Italian sense. Items range from handbags to pillowcases, aprons, hair ribbons, zipper pouches, and placemats.
I also design printable wall decor for homes and offices that portray Japanese wisdom and peculiar concepts. These add a sense of sophistication to our surroundings and remind us of the small truths of life.
Behind the brand
Hi, I am Elena and eleNAmi is the result of my love for Japan, where I live, and the passion for sewing transmitted by my Italian grandma.
This project merges my name, Elena, with the word “Nami” (波), which in Japanese means “waves”. The logo in fact recalls the traditional pattern “Seigaiha” (青海波), which represents the waves of the ocean and symbolises resilience, tranquility and good luck.
In the same way, I want you to experience Japanese culture with its wisdom and irony, not only through my products but also by sharing my insights on traditions, local travel tips, and Japanese symbology/patterns.
Consciousness
Before moving to Japan, my studies and profession were connected with sustainability, circular economy, and energy efficiency (my roles were in the field of international cooperation, which I was happy to continue for a period in Tokyo too, and made me appreciate the strength of different cultures learning from one another). I try to implement consciousness principles as much as possible also in my life and in my products too.
